1. Please introduce your name, who you are, which country are you staying in and your area of IM expertise

Hi everyone, I am Davion Wong and I live in the sunny island of Singapore.

My forte is niche marketing and article marketing. Currently ranked Top 50 out of 180,000 authors in EzineArticles, I have created a complete hybrid income system for traffic generation, lead capture and sales conversion.

Article marketing alone has brought in over 3 million visitors within 2 years and it is part of the system.

Another part of the system is my blog network as I own a growing network of WordPress blogs in various niches.

My company now markets in over 10 niches.

2. Share with us your first success in Internet Marketing and how did you do that

I experienced my first success in Internet Marketing when I managed to build it from zero to a 5-figure monthly income within 12 months.

But it was not always rosy and the initial year, 2006 to 2007 was a year of hard knocks.

I had to learn from scratch and there was no kind soul to offer the help needed.

One thing I learnt was to stay focused. By staying focused, I worked on a single course of action, a single plan and was able to scale it up.

If I may add, my faith has been the primary reason and source of my strength when I face disappointments in the business.

3. Share with us one obstacle which you have overcome and you have learnt alot from it

Never be afraid to try. Frankly, when I first heard about article marketing, I was quite skeptical and it took me a long while to decide to start writing my 1st article.

However, when that very first was ranked No.1 in Google out of 2,000,000 results, I was completely won over. That led me to scale up my article marketing efforts and I now have well over 1000 articles online driving 1000s of visitors daily to my sites.

The second challenge came when WordPress blogging caught on. Once again, I was faced with the challenge of learning something new.

But my article marketing experience told me that it is possible and well, I started and have never regretted the decision since then. Now, I own a network of blogs that continue to grow fast!

4. Share with us one mindset tip you would like to share with others, especially those who find IM hard

I know that a lot of newbies come online to “test” water. I was one of them except that I had the mindset of wanting to succeed.

This is very important as online marketing may seem difficult initially and with the mire of information overload, many newbies and even those who have been trying for a year or two give up.

Know your strengths and develop a simple to follow plan. Frankly, the first hurdle is always the first sale. Once you get it, you will get hooked.

Trust me, I have taught a number of folks, and one of more students told me that ever since he made his first sale, that totally broke his mindset that money cannot be made online.

Once you make your first sale, it is time to scale things up.

Now, successful marketers succeed not because they are smarter or what. They just follow a simple formula, if something works, scale it up.

So if you realize that article marketing works for you, then scale it up. Write more, submit more and outsource.

The important thing is to find something that works for you, improve and fine tune the process and automate it by outsourcing.

That is my secret to multiplying income streams. 😉
