1. Please introduce your name, who you are, which country are you staying in and your area of Internet Marketing (IM) expertise

Hi Jhong Ren,

My name is Edmund Loh. We have met before in person last year at one of Stuart Tan’s seminars. I am from Malaysia, currently just staying across the causeway.

While I do various activities for my business, and I see a lot of importance to major in areas such as list building, product creation and membership site building, I am often associated with Private Label Rights. It’s not a surprise since I’ve created easily more than 250+ different Private Label Rights titles to date – mostly under the PLRGold brand.

2. Share with us your first success in Internet Marketing and how did you do that

Success means anything to many people, and in my own view my first success came in the form of the first $97.00 sale I made using the Internet. It may appear insignificant but I know a lot of Internet newbies and successful people from humble beginnings will know and appreciate the value of making their first sale online.

The first sale came at the price of trying something daring, something different from the norm – since I came from a background and circle of people where the idea of making money using the Internet seemed far-fetched at that time.

Not to mention the risk of leaving my full-time job earlier to pursue Internet Marketing, only to find myself miserably broke for the first 2 months and thousands of dollars in debt.

The first sale gradually became more sales, and I pulled off my first launch of any kind – PLRGold Master Rights Pack 1 – in December 2005. While the money may not seem much compared to the results I pull in now, it was a game changer for me and my family I was/am supporting.

My sister, who is 2 years my junior, left high school, served National Service, and came back to us just in time when I had found enough money to put her into college for tertiary education.

If I am to quickly sum up how I was able to do that, I owe it all to doing:

– building my mailing list
– striking Joint Venture deals as often as I can
– releasing new products that people can benefit from

These are the 3 core things I always do even until now. Not a cutting-edge formula, but gets me to where I want.

3. Share with us one obstacle which you have overcome and you have learnt alot from it

To say I had a lot of obstacles was an understatement. That 2 months I was broke and feeding on 1 meal a day (and just bread and water at that) were my most trying moments I remembered. This is right after living one type of lifestyle I had always knew of: scarcity and poverty.

My parents had failed to fund me through my tertiary education, thus as a result I had to work for the things I really wanted. However I had to start with needs a.k.a. (also known as) survival first.

The biggest obstacle at this point was: FAITH.

To be honest, I wasn’t even sure if I was doing the right thing. And I was worried if I was insane myself, only I didn’t realize it.

But I’m glad I held on tight enough to see everything through and experience abundance otherwise I would forever be stuck in a world I comfortably but dreadfully know of: poverty.

4. Share with us one mindset tip you would like to share with others, especially those who find IM hard

Even after becoming successful at Internet Marketing, my struggle didn’t stop there. I had to pick up on many other things that affect other areas of my life, including self improvement and social.

These were also different ball games for me altogether. However I adopt the same formula and mindset when approaching my goals on different areas, Internet Marketing included.

I believe that tough times don’t last, tough men do. And that little problems worry only little people. If you believe that you are tough, and you are big in your own ways, you will conquer your barriers and learning curve.

Another thing I also want to add: I know that in this business, figures and stats seem to take a strong ruling and define Internet Marketers. While it’s impressive, I warn you not to feel challenged or even feel belittled even when you discover there are many other people who make more money than you, or live a better live as you think. (notice I didn’t say IF)

It’s not a race, and no one is keeping the record for you. And when you finally succeed, no one will really remember that you once struggled a lot and probably have gone through your own share of embarrassing moments. As said, no one is keeping tabs and even so, it will just show what a long way you’ve come… and that’s a good feeling to embrace!

5. Share with us about the uniqueness of one product of yours.

LOL I create many products but if I am to pick one for the spotlight, I’d say my PLRGold products. Anything with the PLRGold brand. I am aware that Internet gurus outsource their work a lot, well so do I – but I have a special touch with the products that come out from my direction.

It’s like a difference between a hawker who cooks himself and those who outsource to foreign workers.

Admittedly, I still outsource my work but everything conforms to a standard – and a high one at that – when I conceive Private Label Content. I sell my own products with personal use rights, and thus I understand what an Internet Marketer needs very well.

This is why I get only the best and the most knowledgeable to form my team of ghostwriters to produce content that people can confidently call as their own. Anything less than satisfactory won’t get pass my release stage.

I also ensure 100% original content as of time of conception before I offer the Private Label Rights to my customers. I think this is one of the main attractions why PLRGold products are (hope I’m not bragging when I say this) #1 choice for many Internet Marketers.

6. One project you are working on right now and you would like my readers to know

Sure! Vince Tan, Stephen Luc and I are currently working on the Mega Red Packet project. To simplify the mission: “we’ve done everything for you”. We are tackling 2 main problems that Internet Marketers of all levels typically have: it’s product creation + getting traffic.

Through Mega Red Packet, we’ve not only done the products for them – including Franchised Business, reseller memberships and brand new Private Label Rights – we are also providing the other missing link i.e. getting traffic. This will come in the form of our upcoming home study course “Traffic Leopard” (releasing in digital version first) and our unique Traffic Networks, where we’ve negotiated a deal with several Traffic site owners to give generous credits to the members of Mega Red Packet so they can get traffic right away – all in one place.

There’s more I’d like to spill but you can follow us at:

Mega Red Packet

7. One last tip you want to share with my readers

I’ve gone through my own trial of fire and when I got out of it, I realized that there were others who have had it worse than I did. This is why I learned to be grateful and fortunate even for the few things I had when I was most down (at least I had a roof and something to eat every day though just a bread and some occasional Maggi Mee which was considered luxurious back then).

Even in your pursuit of writing your own success story, be grateful for the little things you have now. Things like a roof over your head, having a computer and Internet connection (I was on dial up and it nearly got cut when I owed 3 months and above), and food to put on the table at the moment.

And another thing… spend less time complaining and more time on action! That will make an 80/20 difference to you really. Cut off that 20% problem and don’t be surprised to see your productivity peak 80%!

Thanks for the opportunity to be interviewed, Jhong Ren. JR is growing quickly to be a favorite icon among many other aspiring Internet Marketers and home business owners. I have absolutely high regards for JR and this is good enough a reason to accept this invitation. Thanks for everything!
