* Start of Interview *

1. Please introduce your name, who you are, which country are you staying in and your area of IM expertise

My name is Michael Lee and I’m currently living in
the Philippines. I specialize in the persuasion and
self-improvement niche.

My IM area of expertise is in copywriting, e-book marketing
and article marketing.

I have written sales copy for a number of reputable
personalities, including Ewen Chia, Kevin Hogan, and
Mike Mograbi.

2. Share with us your first success in Internet Marketing and how did you do that

Back then, I was intrigued by those online people “getting 6
to 7 figures annually on autopilot”. I started researching,
visiting forums, and even asking famous online marketers on
the various aspects of internet marketing. Some were glad to
guide me in my journey.

Since I am quite familiar with self-improvement after having
read tons of books about it, I decided to create a product
in the self-help topic that fascinated me the most: persuasion
and influence. I thoroughly researched, studied, and tested
the deepest secrets of persuasion.

I created my main product entitled “How to be an Expert Persuader”
at https://www.20daypersuasion.com . It’s a course that reveals
how to easily and quickly persuade anyone to do what you want,
using breakthrough techniques on persuasion and conversational
hypnosis.

It is very useful whether you want to create satisfying
relationships, boost your earnings, and tremendously succeed in
your pursuits. People were very interested in the course, and
it became a massive success!

By then, I was doing internet marketing during my spare time
because I’m still a bit unsure if I should be leaving the
comfort zone of the corporate world.

3. Share with us one obstacle which you have overcome and you have learnt alot from it

I remembered sleeping 3 hours a day and sacrificing my health
to attain success. (I don’t recommend putting your health at risk,
but I do recommend working harder than most people.)

Most people are afraid to get out, and are satisfied to be within,
the comfort zone of the corporate world; I’m not. I want to be my
own boss and pursue my passion.

It’s extremely difficult, but it’s all worth it in the end. I’m
now enjoying my work and have full control over my schedule.

4. Share with us one mindset tip you would like to share with others, especially those who find IM hard

One of the biggest reasons why people don’t succeed can be traced from the
very evil word known as “excuses.”

I often hear various excuses. Some say, “I’ll try” or “I’ll see.” No way.
As Yoda said, “It’s either you do it or you don’t. There is no try.” To try
is to exert a half-hearted effort. It is such a weak word. In any endeavor,
you have to push yourself to the limit. Full steam ahead.

There’s no need to make everything perfect before you take action.
Perfectionists never get anywhere because they never start until the
perfect conditions are met. And since nothing is perfect, expecting
perfection is a waste of valuable time.

The important thing is to adjust along the way. The more you don’t start
doing something, the harder it is to get started. If your will to do
something is weak, it will get weaker and weaker until you finally decide
to quit.

Use the power of momentum. Take the all-important first step, and you’re
halfway done. Take the next step, and another, then another. You will
become stronger and stronger as you take more and more steps until you
find yourself on fire and on a roll.

7. One last tip you want to share with my readers

Never give up until you are absolutely sure that it is hopeless or unless
it is better to spend time on another pursuit. For beginners who want to
get their feet wet but do not have the capital, try Bum Marketing

Once you make money and have enough confidence to earn more, re-invest a
portion of it in paid advertisements and outsource your article writing so
you may have more time in managing your business and less time doing manual
