It funny how so many people tell you to build a list and the mechanics of building a list but never the actually way to get people on your list. Like you say - get it up to 200 (I usually recommend 500 but will try 200 in a new niche) and get some JV partners for adswaps, list dumping and marketing each others products. Rather than thinking you have to get over 10,000 through articles, web 2.0, forum sigs and viral reports! Good post Jon… nail on the head. Like you say – get it up to 200 (I usually recommend 500 but will try 200 in a new niche) and get some JV partners for adswaps, list dumping and marketing each others products.
